Cindy, please keep me up on this , I have a gggrandfather that would have been in that area and would have been a part of the Osage ceramonies . His name was William Pryor he had 3 Indian names. I have all 3 and would love to know for sure if he was living or near this area. Thank you . Linda

I have some land there that has, I believe, a Historcal Preservation Register on it. It is said to be Osage Cerimonial Grounds. My cabin there was built in 1933 by the Boy Scouts. In a 1935 Deed the referance to the use of this land is as private resort only. There were 4 American Legion fellas and their wives that cared for it up until the early 80's .Their last names were Rickard, Morris, Guenther and Armstrong. The Armstrongs lived in Trenton, MO. The land sits in it's historical state to this day but I do believe that there has been a great deal of artifact hunting going on there. We will be going there next spring to fix up the cabin and start a paper trail as to if and when these cerimonial grounds were being occupied.
